Beethoven-era Violin for sale:

A violin with a one piece back of irregular medium flame, ribs and scroll of
narrow flame, a top of spruce with a wide grain in the center changing to a
medium width at the edge, has a dark orange-brown varnish. Bavarian, 1800-1820.
This violin came from the estate of Frederic W. Swamer. It is offered by
the current owner at $8,500. Also available: a violin bow branded J.P.
Gabriel*** with silver and ebony frog, offered at $800.
